Lundby

Solana Beach, CA

The Lundby Residence is organized with geometric elements that relate to the house and blur the boundary of indoor and outdoor spaces. A rectangular lawn organizes the backyard and creates an entertaining area for larger gatherings. Water from the roof is directed into a “native marsh” avoiding runoff into the adjacent canyon. Soft blue-green plants have been selected creating a simple, quiet garden.
